Le Charmé Suites - Subic proudly participated in the SBMA Friday Cleanup Club held on November 28, 2025, in celebration of the 33rd SBMA Anniversary. This community-driven program, conducted in front of Building 229, brought together volunteers, organizations, and leaders for one of the most meaningful Subic Bay clean-up activities supporting sustainability and environmental protection.

A Morning Program Led by Environmental Advocates

The event officially began at 6:30 AM with the Opening of Registration, followed by an Opening Prayer led by Mr. Benjamin M. Biquo III of the Protected Area Division.

At 7:05 AM, Ms. Amethya P. Dela Llana, Head of the Regulatory Group and Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Public Health, delivered the Welcome Remarks, highlighting the importance of community involvement in keeping Subic Bay clean and eco-friendly.

Although SBMA Chairman Engr. Eduardo Jose L. Aliño was unable to attend personally, he sent a representative to deliver his Inspirational Message at 7:15 AM, emphasizing SBMA’s direction toward sustainable development and its long-term goal of achieving a #CarbonNeutralFreeport.

At 7:20 AM, Mr. Marwille Ralph Encina of EMS II delivered the Safety Protocol, ensuring participants were prepared for the clean-up procedures. This was followed by a Brief Orientation on Waste Segregation at 7:30 AM, facilitated by Ms. Regine Ethel C. Linzaga-Pincil, Senior Forest Management Specialist of the Policy Monitoring Division - an essential part of promoting eco-friendly waste management in Subic Bay.

The guided Cleanup Proper began at 7:40 AM, with DJ Double B hosting and providing on-ground coordination.
